10th Association of Biomedical Andrologists AGM

The 2015 ABA AGM, will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Leeds on 21st May. The morning session promises to be interesting with a look at ISO 15189. Louise Davidson from UKAS will be discussing what ISO 15189 can do for your service followed by Steve Troup who will be providing a survivors guide! Paul Hancock will then deliver some clarification on validation and verification followed by Stephanie Brooks who will be covering the importance of toxicity testing.

This year marks the ABA’s 10th AGM and we are excited to announce the introduction of a short communication and poster session. This is your chance to claim your time in the limelight and share your knowledge and experiences with fellow peers and colleagues. The best poster and presentation will be awarded a free place at ABA AGM 2016 so get your thinking caps on! Details of how to submit can be found on the ABA website but hurry as the deadline for submissions is 31st March.

The afternoon session will focus on clinical interpretation with Sue Kenworthy discussing the importance of data collection and sample procurement processes and Dr. Sarah Martins Da Silva explaining how to make clinical interpretation meaningful for the patient. This year’s meeting will again feature the popular ‘andrology question time,’ so please email your questions in plenty of time for the panel to address. The meeting will close with prize presentations for the best poster/short communication session.
