Call for NICE Guideline topic experts

Dear All,

In response to recent questions around the NICE Guidance for IUI this is being revisited. The following email from NICE provides information on how you could be involved:

Dear colleagues

We are currently seeking to recruit topic experts for the update of the Fertility (assessment and treatment for people with fertility problems) guideline.

The update will look at the effectiveness of intrauterine insemination (IUI) in people with unexplained infertility, mild endometriosis or ‘mild’ male factor infertility.

We are looking for the following people:

  • 1 x GP
  • 1 x Fertility Nurse
  • 1 x Lay Member
  • 5 x NHS Fertility Consultants – with an interest in IUI

Adverts for both the professional and lay members can be found on the NICE website at the following links:

Lay Members: http://www.nice.org.uk/get-involved/join-a-committee/lay-member-uterine-insemination-for-people-with-fertility-problems-cgusc

Both adverts will close 5pm on Monday 7th September 2015.

Key dates for meetings that must be attended are included in the advert – please take these into consideration when applying.

We’d be grateful if you would also forward this email on to anyone you think may also be interested in applying.

Take care

Emma
