The NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) is a postgraduate entry programme leading to more senior scientist roles in Health Care. Postgraduate training for the STP leads to a specifically commissioned and accredited master’s degree and certification of achievement of work based training.
As a key area of practice centred in the NHS we are one of the organisations that have actively been lobbying for an STP for Andrology. Acceptance of this curriculum will also allow people to achieve the protected title of “Clinical Scientist” in the field of Andrology.
At this stage the curriculum has been sent to BAS along with other groupings as part of its public consultation stage.
We would appreciate comments from anyone – member, non member, or members of the public on this draft document and what has been included in the curriculum content.
There are two documents to read (learning guide and MSc syllabus) and a form to provide feedback.
