BAS Young Researcher

Fellow BAS Young Researchers:

Welcome to BAS!

As a young researcher of the BAS your are eligible to:

    Apply for a BAS travel grant (worth up to £250) to travel to this year’s AERA-BAS meeting in Asturias, Spain (22nd-25th of October, for more details on AERA-BAS 2008 click here) or a national or international conference of your choice (if you have been a BAS member for 6 months). For more information on BAS travel grants click here.

Important information: BAS travel grant applications will be assessed in September (deadline: 31st of August) this year.

   Receive discounted registration fees at AERA-BAS 2008 (information on registration fees can be found here).       

Important information: the AERA-BAS abstract submission deadline is on the 21st of May.

   Enter the AERA-BAS 2008 student competition (but only if you are a student) and be in with a chance of winning a cash prize! Further information on the AERA-BAS 2008 student competition can be found here.

 

If you are a student or postdoc within 5 years of completing your PhD you too can become a Young Researcher of the BAS and take advantage of the BAS travel grant scheme, discounted registration fees at AERA-BAS 2008 and enter the AERA-BAS 2008 student competition (mentioned above), so, join us today!
