BAS Travel Awards

BAS Travel Awards are available to successful applicants for travel to national and international conferences - so apply today!

If you would like to apply for a travel grant, complete the travel grant application form (you can also download the form, in Microsoft Word Format or as a PDF) and return it to the BAS treasurer Sheena Lewis. The next round of applications will be assessed in May 2008 and the deadline for submission will be 31st August 2008.

 To qualify for an award:

• you must have been a BAS member for at least one year, or a student member for six months

• you must not have received a BAS travel award for two years

• the maximum award value per application is £250

• requests for funding must be made before the conference

• applicants must actively participate in the conference (i.e. present a paper or poster) and send proof e.g. the submitted abstract

• successful applicants will be required to write a report on the conference attended for the BAS newsletter

We ask all successful candidates to acknowledge on posters and presentations funding from the British Andrology Society.
